Growing up in the northwest, Sawyer Cat was always told that she could do anything as long as she followed her dreams. Falling in love with film and music early on, Sawyer was quick to announce that it was her dream to sing and dance in the movies. Her family was only too happy to nurture her goal and hired the best teachers available. After training in dance and song throughout all of her childhood and academic career, Sawyer made the bold move to Hollywood, California to make her dreams come true.

Doing a fantastic job at her first audition, Sawyer was thought to be the next star among the Hollywood animal elite. However, she was denied that role, and was further turned down after countless other attempts. She eventually came to accept that no one was looking for her kind of talent, though she was more than qualified to work behind the scenes.

After reluctantly taking a job as a secretary at Farley Wink's Animal Actors Agency, Sawyer decided to concentrate on finding a steady job, as opposed to the unpredictable field of entertainment. She continued to work with Wink, refusing to go back home for various reasons, for about five years, at which point a cat named Danny waltzed into her life. It was rocky at first, but Danny eventually convinced her to try the stage again and they both ended up leading a revolution for animal actors everywhere.

Nowadays, Sawyer works with Danny Cat on film and on stage; wowing audiences with her smooth, rhythmic movements and cool, calm stage presence. She's gone on, with and without Danny, to win several awards for dancing and vocal performance.
